Kingston to Lose Austin for 7 Months

Team officials for the Kingston Lions have revealed that the recent injury to Chris Austin will keep him out for 7 months. The 32-year-old reliever suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament on 08/31/1997. He has not played since.

Season-to-date, Austin has rung up no saves in 20 relief appearances. He has 14 strikeouts and 10 walks in 31.1 innings while registering a 3.45 ERA and a 1-0 won-lost record.
