Bray Acclaimed FL Player of the Week Monday, August 25th, 1997 Youth was served last week as 25-year-old Dan Bray put together a remarkable stretch on the mound, outpacing all other Federal League pitchers and hitters to win Player of the Week honors. The Mount Sterling Gladiators hurler rang up 18 strikeouts in 15 innings, compiling an ERA of 0.60 and posting a fine 2-0 mark. In 27 starts this year Bray has posted 14 wins while suffering 8 losses. He has pitched 202 innings, allowed 139 hits, struck out 236 and has a 1.96 ERA. |
