Park City (F)-Kingston Fight Results in Suspensions
Saturday, August 16th, 1997
Todd Madden of the Park City (F) Kings was not happy with Alex Chambers, and his frustration showed when he went after the Kingston player during yesterday's game at Teflon Field. Both benches cleared as they rushed to the aid of their teammates. Order was soon restored as Madden and Chambers were pulled away from each other. They were ejected from the game.

Both players were suspended 4 games by the league office as a result of their tussle.

"It's something that happens in baseball every once in a while," Madden commented later. "We get frustrated with another player and sometimes things go too far. We'll both take our suspensions and then come back ready to play. I got no hard feelings."

On the year Madden has hit .250 with 1 home run, 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs.

In 11 starts this season, Chambers has recorded 2 wins and absorbed 6 losses. He has pitched 68.2 innings, allowed 67 hits, struck out 31 and has a 4.98 ERA.
