Federal League Names Rookie of Month Friday, August 1st, 1997 Youngster Kevin Greene emerged as the latest Federal League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Fremont deserved the honor, batting .330 with 2 home runs and 12 RBI. Is the month of July a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Greene enjoy the limelight. Greene is currently batting .267 with 5 home runs and 35 RBIs. |
