Liberty (C) Giants Are Champs Sunday, September 22nd, 1996 1996 has been good to the Liberty (C) Giants. Not only did they end up in first place during the regular season with a 91-53 record, they were the Continental Baseball League champions. The Giants won the World Series for the 4th time. A 3-2 triumph over the Park City (F) Kings at Teflon Field brought home the trophy to Liberty (C). They won the series 4-1. |
