CL's Top Hitter Announced Sunday, September 1st, 1996 On the heels of a very productive August, Jason Coffman received Colonial League Batter of the Month recognition today. The battle-tested first baseman hit .305 for the Irondale Steelers and racked up 8 home runs, 15 RBIs and 20 runs scored. Presently Coffman is batting .292 with 34 home runs and 78 RBIs. He has played in 130 games and scored 86 times. |
