Turner on the Attack, Player of the Week Monday, August 26th, 1996 So far in his young career, Timothy Turner has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Colonial League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Park City (C) Patriots left fielder hit at a torrid .481 clip as he collected 13 hits in 27 at-bats, no home runs, 1 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Thus far this year Turner has hit .285 with 1 home run and 10 RBIs. |
