Chávez's Treatment Not Going Well, Suffers Setback Saturday, August 10th, 1996 Park City (C) right fielder David Chávez has suffered a setback in his recovery from a hamstring strain. According to Patriots officials, he will be disabled another 6 days. "Doctors are concerned with the rate of healing and have decided that Chávez will need additional time in rehab before he will be cleared to play," one team spokesman explained to reporters.
