CL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Thursday, August 1st, 1996 Conrad Larsen's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Irondale shortstop has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In July he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .231 with 1 double, no triples and 2 home runs. Larsen also scored 7 times and drove in 6 runs. Presently Larsen is hitting .208 with 4 home runs and 12 RBIs. He has played in 34 games and scored 15 times. |
