Ashley Fires Shutout in Liberty (F) Victory Tuesday, July 16th, 1996 In an outstanding mound performance Matt Ashley fired a complete-game shutout against the Gladiators. He tossed a 3-hitter for Liberty (F) to beat Mount Sterling 5-0 at Kraft Stadium. On his stats sheet for the year Ashley shows a 8-6 record, 21 starts, 151.2 innings, 109 strikeouts and a 2.08 ERA. |
