Jason Wood Paces FL with .313 Average
Monday, September 19th, 1994
The league batting title is awarded each year to the one player that is able to separate himself, even if only by a single hit, from the rest of the hitters in the league. This year, the player to do that was Centerville's first baseman Jason Wood. He hit Federal League pitching at a .313 pace over 144 games to take home the 1994 edition of the award.
