Epperson Wins FL Top Pitcher Award Thursday, September 1st, 1994 Bill Epperson's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 4-1 in August, the 25-year-old Fremont hurler has been named Federal League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 30 in 44 innings, logged an ERA of 1.84 and allowed opponents to hit .204 against him. This season Epperson has a 15-7 record with a 2.56 ERA in 28 starts. |
