Giants Gore Strikes out 15 Steelers Tuesday, August 16th, 1994 If you can't hit 'em, you can't beat 'em. That was the story today at the Liberty (C)-Irondale clash at M&M's Field. Giants twirler Trent Gore gunned down 15 Steelers via strikeouts and beat them 3-0. In a superb performance he allowed 2 hits and issued 1 walk for the victory. Thus far this season Gore has posted a 11-6 record, started 26 games, struck out 222 batters in 175 innings and compiled a 2.31 ERA. |
