Kingston-Liberty (F) Brawl, Price and Burris Suspended Monday, August 1st, 1994 Andrew Price of the Kingston Lions and Donovan Burris of the Liberty (F) Knights got into a wrestling match yesterday at Kingston Field and now must pay the consequences for violating league rules. They have both been assessed 5-game suspensions by the league for inciting the heated altercation between the two clubs. This year Price is hitting .261 with 5 home runs. This season Burris has worked 106.2 innings with 88 strikeouts en route to a 9-4 record and a 2.36 ERA. |
