Boman Out of Commission 5-6 Months Tuesday, September 14th, 1993 John Boman could soon be placed on the disabled list. The Irondale shortstop told reporters that he expects to be "out of commission" for 5-6 months because of a broken kneecap. He hasn't played since 09/11/1993 and, he said, he's "itchin' to get back out there." Boman is hitting .313 for the season with 3 home runs, 22 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 45 hits in 144 at-bats and played in 44 games. |
