CL Names Best Player Monday, September 6th, 1993 Jim Brady demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Colonial League Player of the Week Award. The Irondale third baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .450 average (9-20) with 4 home runs and 7 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. So far this season, Brady has recorded a .286 batting average with 124 hits, 15 home runs, 57 RBIs, 57 runs scored and a .342 OBP. |
