Colonial League Names Rookie of Month Wednesday, September 1st, 1993 Stan Miller earned August's Rookie of the Month honors in the Colonial League for last month's performance. The boyish Irondale second baseman might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Miller hit .300 with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 10 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. To date Miller has chalked up a .246 average with 3 home runs, driven in 19 runs and scored 24 times. |
