Update: Torres Out 3 Weeks Friday, August 20th, 1993 The medical report is in: the injury that has kept Liberty (F) right fielder Ralph Torres out of action since 08/17/1993 will sideline him for another 3 weeks. The 27-year-old Torres, who has an intercostal strain, said he heals quickly. "I'll be back soon," he said, "and I'll pick up where I left off. " This season Torres has hit 30 home runs and posted a .268 batting average. |
