Younger Sidelined for 3 Weeks
Sunday, August 8th, 1993
Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Kings when after today's game against the Knights, the club found out they would be without the services of Jeffery Younger for at least 3 weeks. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Younger was injured earlier today colliding with a player at a base and suffered a fractured rib.

Younger is currently batting .287 with 8 home runs, 48 RBIs and 60 runs scored. He has 111 hits in 387 at-bats.
