FL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Sunday, August 1st, 1993 Bill Harrington is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest Federal League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In July the Fremont hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .326 average with 29 hits, 4 home runs and 13 RBIs. This season Harrington is hitting .318 with 54 hits, 6 home runs, 18 RBIs, scored 23 runs and played in 45 games. |
