Centerville's Wood FL's Best Monday, July 26th, 1993 It was an extraordinary week for Jason Wood of the Centerville Cyclones. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .346, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Federal League. Last week Wood went 9-26, racked up 3 home runs and 9 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Centerville first baseman. So far this season Wood is batting .297 with 12 home runs, 51 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has 111 hits in 374 at-bats, 45 walks and a .375 OBP. Wood has played in 95 games. |
