Newport-Park City (F) Announce Deal Thursday, July 8th, 1993 The Navigators and Kings have been engaged in a little wheeling and dealing. They have just concluded a trade with 28-year-old third baseman Robert Buchanan and 21-year-old starting pitcher Ryan Donaldson going to Park City (F) in exchange for 25-year-old right fielder Miguel Romero and $1,110,000 in cash. This season in 71 games, Buchanan has hit at a .262 clip with 58 hits, 1 home run, 15 RBIs and 24 runs scored. Currently Romero is hitting .233 and has collected 7 home runs, 26 RBIs and scored 31 times, while playing in 76 games. |
