CL Pitcher of the Month Goes to Pratt Monday, August 1st, 1988 Bo Pratt has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in July and stole away with the Colonial League Pitcher of the Month award. The Navigators bullpen ace collected no saves and 21 strikeouts in 28.1 innings, holding the opposition to a .155 average and posting a 0.64 ERA and a 4-0 record. Pratt has taken the hill for 1 relief appearance this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 11-8 record with a 3.46 ERA. The Newport reliever has limited opposing batters to a .223 batting average. |
