Bradley Wins CL Best Player Award Monday, July 18th, 1988 In the twilight of his career, 38-year-old Ken Bradley of Liberty recaptured some of the old magic last week and came away with the Colonial League Player of the Week Award. "I've been playing since I was a kid," Bradley told reporters, "but you're never too old to feel the thrill of success." Bradley outpaced the rest of the league's hitters last week, reeling off 12 hits in 30 at-bats, 2 home runs, and 9 RBIs to stake his claim to the award. To date this year Bradley is batting .293 with 18 home runs. |
