Howard Snares CL Top Batter Award in July Friday, August 1st, 1986 It's a time for celebration in Portsmouth as Pat Howard has just walked away with July's Colonial League Batter of the Month award. He socked 27 hits in 98 at-bats to put up a .276 batting average, 9 home runs, 23 RBIs and 22 runs scored. For the year Howard has hit at a .282 clip with 83 RBIs, 32 home runs and 83 runs scored. |
