Record-Breaking "W" for Miller Monday, August 5th, 1985 "Edward Davis is a pretty darn good pitcher. I never thought of myself in his league. After today, I guess I might be fairly good, too ... winning 15 games in a season is really something." That's what Kevin Miller of the Liberty Giants said after he broke the league record for most victories in a season. Miller chalked up his 15th win today at Patriots Park, passing Edward Davis, the previous recordholder. So far in 25 appearances this season, Miller has recorded 15 wins and sustained 4 losses. He has pitched 159.1 innings, yielded 147 hits, fanned 117 and has a 2.26 ERA. |
