Steelers, Patriots Close Deal
Tuesday, July 30th, 1985
The Steelers and Patriots pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 38-year-old left fielder Rob Hickmott head to Park City in exchange for 31-year-old reliever Ted Wolton and 20-year-old reliever Tyler Carr. A source close to Irondale officials said "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs."

So far this year, Hickmott is batting .232 with 4 home runs and 16 RBIs.

This season Wolton has made 54 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 1-7 won-lost mark and a 3.59 ERA. In pitching 62.2 innings, he has totaled 31 strikeouts and 31 walks.
