Bailey and James Traded Wednesday, July 10th, 1985 After a week of negotiations, the Navigators and Steelers have come to terms on a deal that will send 35-year-old first baseman Kyle Bailey and $3,000,000 in cash to Irondale for 31-year-old reliever Tom Orr and 19-year-old first baseman Dusty James. This season Bailey has 11 home runs and a .246 batting average. |
