CL's Top Hitter Announced Monday, August 1st, 1983 When Guillermo Reyes stepped up to the plate in July, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Colonial League Batter of the Month award. The young Capital City first baseman posted a .296 batting average with 6 home runs, 21 RBIs and scored 18 runs. Reyes also worked pitchers for 9 walks to post a .347 on-base percentage. Reyes currently has a .263 batting average with 118 hits, 24 homers, 86 RBIs, 67 runs scored and a .310 OBP. |
