Bailey Wins CL Best Player Award Monday, August 1st, 1983 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Kyle Bailey was rewarded with the Colonial League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Newport Navigators first baseman hit .455 while collecting 10 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. This year Bailey is hitting .290 with 16 home runs and 48 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .382 clip and scored 56 runs. |
