Hits Galore: Holmes Drills 5 Hits Friday, July 15th, 1983 Today at Patriots Park, Eric Holmes led the Giants to a 18-9 triumph over the Park City Patriots. He colleced 5 hits in 6 at-bats to spark his club in the victory. Eric Holmes singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Ted Wolton in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Steve Tate in the 8th and singled in the 9th. So far this year Holmes is batting .317 with 5 home runs. |
