June's Best CL Hurler is Murdock Friday, July 1st, 1983 Emery Murdock's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 4-0 in June, the 35-year-old Park City hurler has been named Colonial League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 27 in 44 innings, logged an ERA of 2.05 and allowed opponents to hit .220 against him. This season Murdock has fanned 89 in 111.2 innings and collected a 6-6 record with a 3.87 ERA. |
